I design with words, data, and pixels.
Designer, strategist, editor, author.
For more than 20 years, I have designed meaningful, understandable content experiences based on deep understanding of my audiences. I thrive on the challenge of simplifying complex topics for end users.
I'm always curious; always learning. This has led to a non-traditional career path. However, I believe my diverse background has made me more adaptable and empathetic -- and that's good because we have a lot of work to do to make this world a more just and equitable place.
Special interests: healthcare, environment, social justice, and ethical technology
You don't want me coding your products, but I do have some light experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Python, R, and working at the command line.
